Hi, I’m Dan Hamilton, a professional genealogist, consultant, and coach, based in Massachussetts. Welcome to my website!

Discovering those who came before you and contributed to who you are today is an amazing and satisfying experience.

It has been so for me and I think it can be for you as well.

I am a retired professional actor and Emmy-Award-winning director. I began my own genealogical journey over 35 years ago. I did research for family, friends, and eventually clients. I am now a member of the Association of Professional Genealogy, the National Genealogical Society, the New England Chapter of the APG, the Central Massachusetts Genealogical Society, and I hold a A-Grade Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University. I am also active in DNA research with projects on numerous sites and services. These days while researching, I am frequently assisted by my son, John Hamilton.
